In developing an initial subject team model a project group devised a research methodology resulting in the evaluation of 4,538 research requests, representing over 3,147 hours of work and almost 36 percent of total annual requests in respect of subject category and research time.

The Library faces some challenges in recruiting and retaining experienced professional staff. This means that one of our strategic priorities is to build capacity among staff by providing development opportunities in key competency areas, including information technology skills.
