The Association of Parliamentary Libraries of Australasia (APLA) is a collaborative network of federal and state parliamentary libraries in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. The Association promotes information sharing between member libraries, advocates quality client service delivery and advances the profession of parliamentary librarianship.
The 2013 Conference and AGM will be held in October 2013, and hosted by the New South Wales Parliamentary Library.
The theme is “Running lean” means creating more value for clients with fewer resources. A lean organisation understands client value, leverages off current assets, minimises waste and focuses its key processes to continuously improve.
